Why do we strive perfection, if it isn't attainable

"perfect, having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be."
A reality built in front of your eyes which you were able to ignore, standards and levels of perfection which you built from the scratch is something now that you are trying to uphold.
What an irony we run from those same things that we make and present to the world.
We strive perfection in everything from our meals to our beauty we build standards and rules to achieve this perfection. But the real question is why do we strive for perfection when we know that it isn't attainable.
we live in a society that builds its own standards and implies them on others, and while we do that perfectly we also manage to mention how perfection is overrated and never forget to write "perfectly imperfect".
we build an ideal image of everything around us, from an ideal guy and a girl to the ideal body image but why? why must we push ourselves, more than what we can handle to achieve something that isn't even true? Something that doesn't exist and we made it to hide our own flaws and to present an image that suits everybody.
The real idea is we must stop pushing ourselves to achieve perfection because the definition of perfection is gonna differ from person to person creating a conflict of opinion.
what we can do is live in the moment and be perfect for yourself, not to meet the requirement of the word or for anyone. Just for yourself so that when you look at yourself you know that you are perfect without meeting any the false standards.

Hi aren't. you. Dramatic I chose not to write long articles which will bore the audience. It is a perspective that is being put forward for the audience. if you were left being confused I hope you can read it through a different perspective but thank you for your feedback.
This was highly confusing to read. It has the facade of being meaningful and deep but it is literally just words on a page and doesn't speak to me at all as a reader. There doesn't seem to be a very coherent introduction. As I start the post I'm unsure what it's about and I as come to the end I'm left feeling even more confused since all the blogs end abruptly and seem far too short. A better sense of structure would help your writing a ton and there's certainly a decent idea behind it all, albeit its a little scattered but still. Hope this helps you grow as a writer:)
